Zephyr

When I make this style of bead, I usually encase in clear, non-coloured glass. However, I have a rod of glass in a very pale lavender which likes to pretend it's my crystal clear glass... and so I picked it up by accident and Zephyr was the result.

The lavender glass has a particular speciality - colour shifting! It will occasionally look clear... in some lights it will appear to be bluish, in others it will be a very pale purple. It's a lovely glass and I'm really glad that serendipity guided me to use it - it creates beautiful effects on the silver-rich glass within
